Operating online with Zoom Cloud Software

1. I do not offer “MakeUp Lessons” at another Lesson Time. 

2. You may ReSchedule a lesson days ahead of your weekly lesson. Use your Calendar and make plans for the Week.

• Connect to your own MusicFun Student Portal Calendar direct to your Smartphone/Computer.

3. I can be prepared ahead of time to use Zoom (or FaceTime) for a lesson when needed during your regular scheduled time. 

• Basic technology is required. I must certify you ahead of time - to be ready for online lessons,

4. I can also use the lesson time to prepare an A/V lesson to view at your convenience, offline.

Operating online with Apple FaceTime

Both parties use Apple devices and exchange phone numbers.

Operating online with Zoom Client Software (any platform any devise)

This is not an expensive operation! With devices, you may already have, you can have an excellent music lesson online. 

Certification (prove effectiveness ahead of time) of Online Lessons is required.

1. Laptop or large Tablet Camera/microphone, in front of the Student,

2. Smartphone with camera for the Teacher’s view point, 

•     A Tripod for the smartphone is useful (Piano: head high looking down onto the piano)

3. Internet: good wifi or direct connect (ethernet Cable), best if others are off wifi.

4. Extension cords and usually, an External well-placed microphone,

• a Yeti mic, a lapel mic, device internal mic, speaker or earplugs/headphones 

are necessary to have a productive lesson environment for student AND teacher.

Why cripple yourself or your Teacher thru an online lesson, unable to hear and see well enough to learn information and follow directions. Prepare for a wonderful experience. This is not a school, sit in front of the computer, pencil hand - read and answer questions. The Visual and auditory nature of music lessons is different.
